Architecture firm Design International creates India’s first covered “high street”

Lulu Mall Trivandrum, one of the largest shopping malls in India, finally opens its door to the public.

The new Mercato di Corso Sardegna has been inaugurated on Saturday 11th December. The building has been subject to restoration and redevelopment that, in less than two years, has transformed the former fruit and vegetable market into a new meeting place in the heart of the city.

Silicon Central Mall, designed by Design International, has been awarded by the MENA Shopping Centre Awards in the category Design & Development. The Award identify and honored every year those shopping centre that have demonstrated an unparalleled ability to succeed, set standards of excellence, implement innovation and creativity throughout the industry.

Two years after the beginning of the works, with the construction site proceeding rapidly, Maximal Pompeii has been selected by the International Property Award as the best project in the category "Retail Architecture" in Italy.
